The main purpose of this video is to show everyday calls and challenges that firefighters and other rescue services have to deal with ** On Thursday, January 20, 2022, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Opole rescue services received a report of a building fire at Jagliellonów Street in Opole. After the first units arrived and conducted reconnaissance, the content of the report was confirmed, and additional forces and resources were dispatched to the site. The firefighters' actions consisted of applying a total of 5 water jets in attack and defense of the neighboring building, including one using a mechanical ladder. Then, demolition work was necessary to reach the hidden fire sources. The rescuers managed to evacuate a dog from the burning apartment, which was handed over to the owners, as well as a significant part of the pharmacy's assortment located on the ground floor. As a result of the fire, one person was injured. Nine State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Service teams, including 30 firefighters, participated in the operation that lasted over 6 hours.
