There are many amazing places in Altai with special symbolism and energy. In this episode, host Evgeny Krivtsov tried to find the entrance to the mythical land of Shambhala. He looked for the way to it on the Chuysky tract, at the Manzherok resort, on the shore of the famous Teletskoye Lake and in the temple on the island of Patmos. He met many people along the way: truck drivers and folk storytellers kaichi, future teachers of the Altai language and sellers at the market. And he understood the main thing: the Altai people are closely connected with nature and ancient traditions, for them Altai itself is Shambhala, giving them strength and wisdom. The program was aired on March 31, 2024. ► Subscribe to stay up to date with new episodes / @evgeny_krivtsov ► Evgeny Krivtsov on social media: Telegram: https://t.me/evgeny_krivtsov VKontakte community: https://vk.com/evgeny_krivtsov Personal VKontakte page: https://vk.com/vermint 00:00 Altai – a place of power 02:07 Truckers on the Chuysky Tract 06:53 Maral breeding farm 12:32 Shopping at a souvenir market 15:08 Manzherok ski resort 20:26 Dice game 22:14 In the family of kaichi storytellers 28:03 Temple on the island of Patmos 31:16 Lake Teletskoye 35:50 Faculty of Altaic Studies 38:50 In search of Shambhala #LifeOfOurs #Altai #MountainAltai #AltaiKrai #GornoAltaysk #Barnaul #Altaians #Manzherok #TeletskoyeOzero #Belukha #Shambhala #trucker #secretsofthepast #HistoryOfRussia #Russia #history #ChannelOne #EvgenyKrivtsov #travelingaroundrussia #traveltorussia #travel #travels #TVshow Photo © Natalia Volkova / Lori Photobank When going on a big trip, tourists look for what to see in St. Petersburg, Kislovodsk, Yakutia or Kamchatka. And if they are going to the sea with their family, they look for interesting places and excursions in Abkhazia or Sochi. To do this, they usually subscribe to a travel blog, for example, Ilya Varlamov or Anton Ptushkin, or watch various travel shows on TV. In Russia, at different times, the best TV shows were "Neputevye Zametki" by Dmitry Krylov, "Oryol i Reshka", "Poekhali" and "Poedem, poedim!" In February 2019, Zhanna Badoeva's program "Life of Others" started on Channel One. With a short break, the show is still on air. But in the situation that is currently developing in the country and in the world, people are more interested in looking at the lives of their compatriots, and not our Western neighbors. And the management of Channel One decided to create its natural continuation - the program "Life of Our Own". The pilot episode about the Kola Peninsula was aired on October 2, 2022 and is available for viewing on our channel.
