Competition format Apply current Vietnamese chess rules (with adjustments). In each group, there will be a round-robin competition in a 4 vs 4 team format. In each match, each team registers with the Organizing Committee a list of 4 players to compete, sitting at tables 1, 2, 3, 4 respectively. However, there can only be a maximum of 2 players of the General rank (predetermined by the Organizing Committee based on the achievements, form and class of each player). General players must sit at tables 1-4 (Ta can be flexible). Players participating in the competition must be on the team registration list with the Organizing Committee before the tournament starts. The team that draws the red color will go first at table 1, table 3 and go second at table 2, 4. The time for each game is 20 minutes, accumulated 10 seconds, if the game is tied, the first move will be 5p+3s, if the game is tied, the first move will be 6p+3s, if the game is drawn, the queen will be 4p+3s (blitz chess game to change the color of the pieces), (blitz chess game to choose the color of the pieces). A quick win is counted as 2-0, a blitz or life-and-death win is counted as 2-1. The match score is counted as 2-0, if the game is tied, it is counted as 1-1. The coefficient is calculated according to the game score. Calculate the total game score to decide the match score. The teams are ranked based on the following criteria: Total match score, coefficient, number of games won, number of games won by going second. At the end of the group stage, the 1st-2nd placed teams will compete for the Gold Cup, the 3rd-4th placed teams will compete for the Silver Cup, and the 5th placed teams will compete for the Bronze Cup. The Bronze Cup semi-final pairs: Semi-final 1: 5A vs 5B, 5C vs 5D. The knockout pairs will compete in 2 home and away matches. If there is a draw in both matches, each team will send 1 player to compete in 2 5p+3s blitz games. If there is a draw, they will continue to play a life-or-death blitz game (draw lots to choose the color of the pieces). 10. Prize structure and costs (expected): Gold Cup champion team: Championship Cup + 30 million VND, second place 10 million, third place 5 million, fourth place 3 million. Losing quarter-finals of the Gold Cup, each team will receive 500,000 VND (sponsored by Mr. Pham Danh Van). Silver Cup champion team: Championship Cup + 10 million VND, second place 2 million. (Mr. Hoang Hai suggested adding 5000k to the Silver cup for the first prize compared to the original) Bronze cup champion team: Champion cup + 5,000,000 VND General: Logo + 3,000,000 VND (for generals, points calculated until the end of the tournament) Lieutenant: Logo + 2 million VND (for lieutenants, points calculated until the end of the tournament) Welcome prize for four heroes: 5 million VND (first prize 3 million, second prize 1 million, third prize 500k) Other costs: Printing cups, logos, parties, banners, referees, drinks The above prizes are all at the minimum level. The prize may increase depending on the addition of other sponsors. The Organizing Committee will be responsible for reallocating the prize fund when there are more sponsors.
