We are Laura and Khalil from HaLo Estate, which we started building 5 years ago when we returned from abroad, left the big city and decided to fulfill our dream of living in a village with children. Raising our children in a sustainable environment close to nature is a major motive that prompted us to return to the village. From then until now we have been working completely on our own to renovate the old farmhouse using natural and recycled materials. Step by step, the abandoned and unsightly house turned into a cozy home. One of our first tasks, however, early on, was to begin rebuilding the garden in which to grow our pure food. We have been preparing for this moment for a long time, but reality always teaches best. All this time, we have been guided by the idea of ​​creating a sustainable garden that, in addition to feeding us, is in complete harmony with nature. The main goal is to work in the direction of not depleting, but restoring our most valuable asset - the soil. Thus, in years to come, we will leave a land - richer and more fertile for our children and grandchildren, and this will be the greatest reward! We want to convey this idea to you, so that together we can responsibly and lovingly build a new attitude towards the village and our land!
