TG channel WALK&TALK - https://t.me/walktalke Many people know or have heard about the city of Volchansk in the Kharkiv region (Ukraine). It is located only 15-20 km from the city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region (Russia). Until February 2022, residents of Volchansk and Shebekino constantly visited each other on various business, many had friends and relatives in these two cities. But the events of 2022 changed a lot in the usual life of the cities of the Kharkov and Belgorod regions. From February to September 2022, there was no Ukrainian government in Volchansk and the city, along with its residents, gradually began to move to a new way of life. But in September 2022, everything changed again and for many residents of Volchansk, who accepted the new reality of the change of power in March 2022, the latest changes of September 2022 were very difficult. The return of Ukrainian power to Volchansk was not only uncomfortable, but also dangerous for many of its residents. On September 10, 2022, a large number of people from Volchansk began to leave for Russia through the then existing checkpoint on the border between the Kharkov and Belgorod regions. One of those leaving was a family with whom I managed to talk the other day in the Belgorod region, where they have been living for the third year. They shared their personal story of how they moved from Ukraine to Russia and how they built a new life in the Belgorod region.
