Naz is sure that Firebirds is Menderes' murderer. She attacks Gülayşe in the anger of losing her great love Menderes. This drives Barbar crazy. Sare takes Ali and Zıpkın into custody to question them about Menderes' murder. Mercan is left alone at the rest stop with her paralyzed legs. Now Mercan is somewhere and Gülayşe is helpless somewhere else. Unable to prevent Ali and Zıpkın from being arrested and Mercan being left alone with her disability, Barbar decides to kidnap Gülayşe. The issue of Mercan's surgery becomes completely unresolved with the stubbornness of both sides. While Nizam Eyüboğlu wants Gülayşe in exchange for surgery, Mercan gives up her legs in order not to give Gülayşe. Sare puts Ali and Zıpkın in the same custody as Çatal and listens to them. Ali questions why Çatal is protecting Menderes in court and learns that Çatal is doing this to protect Barbar.
