Is compatibility with flashes guaranteed? Will things work the way we are used to? This video is about that, because I tested a bunch of flash models on my EOS R7 to find out the answers. Note: Canon is launching the Speedlite EL 5, so far the only model 100% made for the new flash contact, without the 5 pins on the base and using communication only through the electronic contacts that are in front of the flash base. It has the same guide number as the 600 EX RT II, ​​which has just been discontinued by Canon. The EL 5 is only compatible with the EOS R3, R6 Mark II, R7 and R10.
