Webinar held on April 26, 2019, about learning difficulties and specific learning disorder, with psychologist and professor Natália Martins Dias. Abstract: Learning problems are common complaints in childhood and adolescence. Underlying such problems may be social, family, or pedagogical variables that characterize a condition referred to as learning difficulty. On the other hand, in other cases, there may be changes of a neurobiological nature. In this case, we may be facing a specific learning disorder. Differentiating between them is not always easy and requires the action of an interdisciplinary team. This webinar aims to present the concepts of learning difficulties and learning disorder, listing the specificities of these conditions, helping professionals to better delimit the variables involved and refine their hypotheses.
