How about we prepare a Milanese Steak/Parmigiana Steak? Don't understand? Come with me! Follow me on Instagram, @alexatala. Ingredients Grated “stale” bread or breadcrumbs Wheat flour ½ liter of milk 1 egg Salt Meat cut into thin steaks (your preference) Olive oil 1 clove of crushed garlic, peeled Enough oil to fry 2 chopped tomatoes Lettuce, cut into strips Preparation Using a grater, grate the stale bread until you have breadcrumbs. In a bowl, mix the milk, egg and a little salt until the ingredients are homogeneous. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add a dash of olive oil and the crushed garlic clove, until golden. As soon as it is golden, remove the pan from the heat and let the garlic continue to flavor the oil. Set aside. Season the steaks with a little salt on both sides. Sprinkle the steak with enough flour to lightly coat the steak. Pat the meat lightly to remove excess flour. If necessary, repeat the process until the entire steak is coated in a thin layer of flour. Carefully coat the steak in the milk and egg mixture until the entire steak is coated, then place the steak in the breadcrumbs. Let the steak rest for a few seconds and then turn it over, sprinkling the breadcrumbs all over the steak. In another frying pan, add the vegetable oil to fry the steak. Let it heat up enough to fry the steak. Fry the steak on one side and, using tongs, turn the meat over so that it cooks on the other side. If necessary, baste the top of the steak with the oil using a spoon. Return the frying pan containing the olive oil and garlic to the heat. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and do not stir. Turn off the heat, season with salt and sauté the tomatoes. Assemble your plate with the lettuce strips, the breaded steak and the sautéed tomatoes. Drizzle with the flavored olive oil and serve!
