Indeed, in recent years we have been experiencing a double crisis of work and employment on the one hand and an environmental crisis on the other. This environmental crisis is due to an overexploitation of resources but also of workers. What alternatives exist for our societies which are based on work and in which a majority express a malaise? What role could work play in a post-growth society? ???? To enlighten us on this subject, I am pleased to welcome Dominique Méda. Dominique Méda is a professor of sociology at Paris-Dauphine University, director of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in the Social Sciences (IRISSO) and president of the Veblen Institute. Her research focuses on the sociological and philosophical dimensions of work as well as alternative indicators of prosperity and wealth. === Summary === 00:00 Introduction 01:34 Who is Dominique Méda? 03:41 [Past] History of work 21:20 [Present] Work and growth 45:54 [Future] Work and post-growth 54:40 Final words === References === Guest's books: - Le travail (2005) - Le Manifeste travail (2020, with Ferreras and Battilana) Veblen Institute book: - 2030, c'est demain!
