Welcome to a new vegetable garden vlog. This time I'm making a short trip to Friesland and Den Helder in connection with my mother-in-law's birthday. There we'll pay a wonderful visit to the lightship Texel (see link later in the description) and go to the seaside for a day. Once home I'll of course start gardening again. The vegetable garden in September is wonderfully full: in the open ground I can harvest kale, cut flowers, tea herbs, beans and parsley. At home in pots I'll harvest the first autumn raspberries, tomatoes and peppers. I'll make a risotto with the kale (see recipe below). I'll make tea with the marigolds, marigolds and licorice plant leaves. I'll combine the latter with lavender. I'll also plant out kohlrabi and finally sow green manure.
