The Fendt implement carrier is a sought-after classic vehicle. Many farmers still use the tractor today. In Törring, a district of Tittmoning in the Traunstein district, it has a particularly large fan community that meets regularly. The special feature of the Fendt implement carrier: the attachments on the tractor can be converted within a few minutes. For example, the loading platform can be removed and the seed drill attached. In 1953, Fendt presented the first implement carrier. But Fendt did not invent the implement carrier. In the 1930s, the engineer Egon Scheuch in Erfurt had already developed a similar concept. The so-called mole was later built in the GDR. Other companies such as Eicher also offered implement carriers. Fendt built the implement carrier until 2004, for example the F250 GT. Then new emissions regulations came into force and production was stopped. Demand had also fallen. But many farmers still use the tractor today. And because it is so popular with collectors, it is becoming more and more expensive - including the spare parts. But what does not bother the vintage car collectors in Törring and elsewhere: they continue to rely on their favorite tractor or vintage tractor.
