Do you ever feel guilty about an extra cookie? “There are no healthy or unhealthy foods,” says Giulia Biondi, nutritionist and popularizer. Feeling guilty about eating, never feeling good enough, the obsession with weight and physical shape are bringing cancer to our concept of nutrition. “All falsehoods” according to Giulia, who spreads a new way of conceiving nutrition and diet in balance with oneself and with self-acceptance. GIULIA BIONDI has a degree in Nutrition Biology with a double specialization in Clinical Nutrition, and in Applied Dietetic Nutrition Science and Nutritional Requirements of Athletes. She is a teacher and speaker in Lazio on behalf of CONI, for the Bio Campus Foundation at the Higher Technical Institute of New Technologies for Made in Italy, and for the European Center for Managerial Studies. An expert in food education, she has sold over a million copies with her three previous best-selling publications on the subject (one of which for Newton Compton) and is writing, for Mondadori, a new book on the topic of self-perception and the effects of social networks on nutrition, to be released in autumn 2022. Her whole life revolves around the world of conscious nutrition, teaching a lifestyle that is not based on restrictions, concessions and slips, and dismantling and debunking one by one, all the fairy tales about food.
