https://www.oderso.cool – Build your own winch, break away from nature and decide for yourself when and where you wakeboard. In this guide I will show you how you can cheaply let a rectangular 6.5 HP DIY dream pull you through your wakeboarding future and then really let loose in Kliemannsland on your own pond (• Wakeboarding in the pond - WINCH test...) How do you build your own winch? What kind of motor should you use for a winch, what transmission (pinion size, chain wheel, etc.) are necessary to get to 30-35 kmh (optimal wakeboarding speed)? Does a winch need its own brake (“If you brake, you end up getting to where you want to go later”) and how do you attach the thing so that it doesn’t run away when a Kliemann wakeboarding pro is hanging on the end of the golden thread? I explain all of this to you in my anger management documentary "Wakeboard WINCH construction instructions - DIY king Fynn Kliemann" :) It's really not that difficult, you just have to make sure that the parts fit together. Chain links and pinion teeth have to mesh (in an emergency, I had to grind it a bit until it fit - I did that too) and the shaft size and torque converter also have to match. You can buy a bunch of them, but pay attention to the manufacturers' instructions. Thanks to Christoph who quietly installed the thumb throttle in the background, Hans who helped shorten the chain and Andi from KA-Winch who, after one or two TAV emergency operations, answered the phone at night to answer questions and diligently sent me parts after I had taken the thing apart again and again. Also thanks to Marv and Felix for the subsequent help and the great day with 5 degree water temperature in Kliemannsland. You can see the construction of the uprail and test of the wakeboard winch including the final song in my new second home, the Kliemannsland → / @kliemannsland Want to browse further? https://www.oderso.cool
