The Juchitán de Zaragoza Market is one of the most authentic in all of Mexico. Here, vendors converge with their products from all over the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, from its bustling coast to its lush jungles. Traditional drinks and foods are made by the Zapotec women of the region. Artisans masterfully make the clothing that will accompany the Isthmus residents at their candlelight vigils or parties.
