#pricesadijanom And this family, just like hundreds of others I have recorded earlier, lives from its work, engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture. Their hearts are tied to one Tarza, and they bought us right away with their hospitality. Traveling people, they used to be called that, and from 1971 they were officially called Roma. People with sincere emotions, pure hearts, joy like a child, people with good souls, our fellow citizens, neighbors, our friends and acquaintances. The once derogatory word gypsy was replaced by the name Roma, which would mean Man. And really, Roma are truly people, just like you and me, like all of us. And these people, whom I visited and whose story I am bringing you, are, in addition to all the above, real hosts. The Alimanovićs from Živinice, Salko and Samed and their family kindly showed me around their property and hosted me in their home. The hard-working housewives stayed on the sidelines this time, and my interlocutors tried not to diminish the merits of their wives in what they all successfully do together. I felt a special joy when I met the youngest members of this family, and I was especially impressed by the attention and respect between them. Allow me, my dears, to congratulate all Roma on their day and wish them to give priority to love and respect. Just like this family. I would actually wish this for all of us. More smiles, less ugly looks. More understanding, less judgment. More good, less evil. There is only one life, and it is up to us whether we will spend it spreading good, by which we will be remembered in the end, or spending it self-sufficient, closing our hearts and harboring ugly thoughts that put us in our own shackles.
