The Indonesian Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) revealed that the supporters of the candidate pairs carried out a number of actions. Namely, such as burning down residents' houses and shooting arrows at each other. The incident was confirmed by the Chairman of Bawaslu RI Rahmat Bagja. In the chaos, it was reported that ballots or ballot boxes were taken. However, Bawaslu RI is still confirming this information to the local Bawaslu, including the trigger for the conflict that ended in chaos. It is known that Bawaslu Puncak Jaya itself is said to have proposed a re-vote (PSU). However, Bawaslu RI still has to examine the evidence and the reasons for holding the PSU in this case. Bagja hopes that the chaos in Puncak Jaya will not result in a PSU. However, if the available evidence supports the PSU decision, then Bawaslu will issue a recommendation. It is known that Puncak Jaya was followed by two pairs of candidates for Regent - Vice Regent, namely Yuni Wonda as the incumbent and Henok Ibo who is the former Regent of Puncak Jaya. Meanwhile, the Puncak Jaya Regency Pilkada still uses the noken system in the implementation of voting. This system involves a customary agreement mechanism as part of the voting process. On the other hand, at the same time, there was an alleged act of violence carried out by the Nabire Regent Candidate, Central Papua Province with the initials MA against residents during the voting period. This incident occurred at TPS 005, Jalan Brawijaya, Morgo Village, Nabire City District, Nabire Regency, Central Papua Province. Based on information received by Tribun Network, the Nabire Regent Candidate wearing an orange shirt was suspected of being involved in an argument. After the argument occurred, suddenly there was a spontaneous beating of someone wearing white clothes. According to information obtained by Tribun Network, the man wearing the white shirt was named Yulius Wopairi who was about to come to vote. As a result of this beating, Yulianus immediately fell down until a scream was heard. Regarding this incident, Selly Wopairi who is the son of Yulius Wopairi and also a TPS officer explained the initial incident. It started when all of them (TPS officers) were counting the ballots that had just been taken from the village office. Then, a resident named Yance Adii came to the TPS and suddenly asked for an invitation letter. However, the TPS officers asked Yance to be patient, because the process of counting the ballots that had just arrived from the village office was still ongoing at that time. After that, Yance entered the TPS and told the PPS not to 'hide' about the invitation, even though the person concerned had received an invitation beforehand. When Yance was reprimanded by his colleague, a resident named Yulius Wopairi was also there. Because Yance continued to talk, Yulius Wopairi embraced him and took him away from the polling station until an argument allegedly occurred which ended in a fight that caused Yulius to be rushed to the hospital. Reportedly, Yulius Wopairi suffered injuries from alleged violence.
