🌱🍫 Vegan brownies made from sweet potatoes - a wonderfully chocolatey dream for connoisseurs! 😍 These heavenly fluffy and delicious brownies are not only vegan, but also gluten-free and rich in alkaline substances. Instagram: / carla__caspary Facebook: / healthyfoodhealthymood Ingredients: 450 to 500 g sweet potatoes 200 g gluten-free oat flakes 100 g cashews 100 g almonds 50 g organic dark chocolate 95% 50 g cocoa powder 140 g dates 4 tbsp date syrup (or other sweetener) 1 pinch of salt 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla extract Decoration: 200 g organic dark chocolate 95% plant-based cream berries Preparation: Bake the sweet potatoes in the oven at 200 degrees for around 40 minutes until soft. The skin of the sweet potatoes is particularly easy to peel; simply make a quick cut and peel off the skin by hand. Now the dates are pitted and the sweet potatoes, dates and chocolate are chopped. All ingredients are placed in the blender and mixed into a homogeneous mass. To ensure the mixing process goes smoothly, first put the sweet potatoes in the blender, followed by the dry ingredients. If necessary, add a little plant milk to the mixture so that everything combines well and can be mixed together. Then the dough is put into a baking dish (approx. 30x30cm) lined with some baking paper and smoothed out. The larger the dish, the thinner the dough will be. Ideally, the dough should be spread out to a thickness of approx. 2.5 cm to make a wonderfully fluffy brownie. The brownies are baked at 180 degrees for approx. 35 minutes. Then the cake is taken out of the dish, the baking paper is removed and left to cool. For a nice, precisely shaped square brownie, cut the edges of the cake straight. In the meantime, melt the chocolate and pour it over the cooled cake. Once the chocolate coating is solid, the dough can be cut into even brownie pieces. The brownie tastes really delicious with homemade coconut cream (see recipe on YouTube) and with fresh berries. Note: If the dough is kneaded by hand instead of with a food processor, date syrup should be used as a sweetener instead of dates. The brownies taste best with baked sweet potatoes, alternatively they can also be steamed, but this will reduce their flavor.
