The Lebanese army raided a warehouse in the Amrousieh neighborhood near Beirut’s southern suburbs, suspected of storing weapons and missiles for Hezbollah. The site, which was attacked by Israeli airstrikes in the last war, was known as the Sadiq complex. The raid comes at a sensitive time, with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun vowing to keep weapons in the hands of the state in accordance with UN Resolution 1701, which calls for the disarmament of armed groups in Lebanon.
