Moritz is sitting in front of the door when a garbage truck with a rear loader stops and empties the garbage cans. Moritz accompanies the garbage truck and the garbage men and, accompanied by Dominik, is allowed to ride on the running board at the back of the vehicle. To do this, Moritz has to hold on to the handles. At the next stop, the garbage cans are mechanically lifted over the container hopper at the push of a button. The can is pressed against a bracket, the tipper lifts the can up and puts it down again. Moritz is even allowed to ride in the front with driver Roberto. There are two screens in the driver's cab: one shows the garbage truck from above to see if there are people next to the vehicle. The other screen shows the rear of the vehicle and the loading area. Large garbage cans can also be emptied completely automatically. They are hung in the loading system. There are numbers on the lids of the garbage cans. These are the house numbers to which the individual bins belong.
