Lady of Transformation and Change: Oya is associated with transformation and change, both in nature and in people’s lives. She is invoked at times of transition, such as births, weddings, and funerals, and is seen as a force that brings renewal and spiritual growth. Warrior and Protector: In addition to her role as the goddess of storms, Oya is seen as a powerful warrior and a protector of her devotees. She is often depicted wielding a sword, ready to defend those who seek her help against evil forces and injustice.
