#tatry #tatramountains #tatrywysokie #gerlach I've been planning to climb this pass for a few years, but something always got in the way. I've heard a lot about the difficulties you can encounter when climbing it. And what's my opinion? After walking this trail, I think it's probably the easiest of those considered difficult. In fact, the only difficulty is a short section of the ascent to the pass itself, very well reinforced and with great holds (for a few years now, there's also been a parallel via ferrata, which I went down, avoiding a large gravel pit, which is located on the part with chains). Of course, you have to be very careful there, but my subjective feeling is that there are much more difficult crossings in the Tatras on marked trails. As for the rest of the trail, it's a pleasant trek through two beautiful valleys. I had the opportunity to walk through the Staroleśna Valley for the first time and it made a huge impression on me. It was another great adventure.
