For more information on the site: www.christianity.gr / @radiochristianity Bible passage: 10 And the valley of Siddim was full of pits of asphalt; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and fell there; and those who were left fled to the mountain. 11 And they received all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their livestock, and departed. 12 They also took Lot, the son of Abram's brother, who lives in Sodom, and his belongings, and departed. 13 And he went down from among the rescued and recited this to Abram the Jew, who lives near the oaks of Mambri of the Amorite, brother of Eshol, and brother of Anir, who were allies of Abram. 14 When Abram heard that his brother had been captured, he armed three hundred and eighteen of his servants, those born in his house, and pursued after them as far as Dan. 15 And dividing himself, he rushed against them by night, he and his servants, and attacked them, and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is on the left of Damascus. 16 And he brought back all the belongings and when Lot brought back his brother and his belongings, and also the women and the people. 17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him, after he had returned from the destruction of Hodollogomor and the kings with him, in the valley of Sayi, which is the valley of the king. 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine, and he was a priest of the Most High God. 19 And he blessed him and said, Blessed is Abram because of the Most High God, who made heaven and earth; 20 and blessed is the Most High God who delivered your enemies into your hand. And Abram gave him a tenth of everything. 21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people, and take the possessions for yourself. 22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, who made heaven and earth, 23 that I will not take from everything that is yours, from a thread to a shoelace, so that do not say, I enriched Abram; 24 except only that which they ate the young men, and of the portion of the people who came with me, of Aner of Eshol and of Mambri, let us receive their portion.
