I wanted to visit the copper quarry at Roşia Poieni but the guard there wouldn't let me in. Then I left the area and went through a few villages, in one of them I found a few abandoned houses in disrepair. Although the landscape is gorgeous, there is electricity, the road is paved and the village is only a 20-minute drive from Alba Iulia, the people have left and the houses have been abandoned.
