ABANDONED NEW VILLAGE and RUSTIC Donji Vakuf BiH (Village with one village, 3km from the city) In this video we bring you two abandoned villages near Donji Vakuf Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first village we visit is Novo Selo, which is about 3 km from the city and is located about 750 meters above sea level. According to the census of foreigners in 1981, there were 158 people in the village, and in 1991, 117 people, while in 2013, that number dropped to 18 people. (source wiki) Today, this village is occasionally visited by its residents or stays there during the season. I think that during the year only the shepherds stay with their treasures. One part of the village is old houses that are made of stacked stone and today they are in ruins, they have not withstood the test of time. The other part of the village, which is higher, has slightly newer houses and they are in much better condition. Some can still be used for housing today. Passing through this hilly village and the fantastic nature that surrounds it, we bring it all through a video. The hilly villages and natural beauty of Donji Vakuf are interesting. The second village we are taking you through, ie. part of it is the village of Rastičevo. It is about 850 meters above sea level and is much more distant from Donji Vakuf, about 10 km. This village is surrounded by real natural pastures and meadows. The natural beauty here is fantastic. The village also has many old orchards, which can still be seen today. Cycling through this nature was very interesting. According to the population census, the village of Rastičevo had 270 people in 1981, 273 people in 1991, while in 2013 that number dropped to 51 people. Today, this village is also abandoned and many houses have been demolished, with foundations and walls remaining. Both of these villages are dominated by meadows, pastures and many orchards. The hilly villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina are still interesting to explore and visit.
