Hello. Today, I brought you baram-tteok, a rice cake that is so familiar to us. However, it is not a plain color, but a baram-tteok decorated with various molds such as flowers and hearts. A plain color baram-tteok is good, but it is a much lovelier shape, so it would be good to put it in a confectionery box and give it as a gift^^ I always steam the tteok dough for only 15 minutes. Other places usually steam it for 20 minutes, but I find that the dough becomes too tough if I do that. Also, you should use similar amounts of the three colors to make it look prettier. Press down well with a rolling pin so that the three-color dough sticks as much as possible to the white dough. If the three-color dough does not stick well, it does not look very pretty. Since it is rice cake, eat it on the day it is made, and seal it well so that it does not harden easily.
