Osaka, the food capital of Japan, is a major Japanese city with a population of over 8.8 million and attracts many tourists from overseas in search of attractive food and entertainment. In 2025, the Osaka-Kansai Expo is scheduled to be held in Yumeshima, located in the bay area of Osaka City. However, even local Osakans are not aware that fishing operations are carried out every day in Osaka Bay, where fresh and delicious seafood is landed. The video introduces three representative types of fishing that take place in Osaka Bay: purse seine fishing, boat trawl fishing, and bottom trawl fishing, each in a short chapter of about 7 minutes. Learning about local ingredients and eating them deliciously will help protect Osaka Bay and support Osaka. Please enjoy Osaka's fish in a variety of dishes.
