In The Bakerson Agency, Detective Walter Morris, on vacation in Cannes, meets Mr. Barlett, a wealthy businessman whom he had once rid of a gang of crooks and blackmailers. Delighted to find his savior, Mr. Barlett invites his friend to spend some time with him and to settle, at his expense, in the Castel Garibaldi, a luxurious hotel. After a stroll in the surrounding area, Walter Morris, seized by a strange premonition, decides to return to his room earlier than expected and finds that it has been searched. Very quickly, other guests of the inn, including Mr. Barlett, rush to the office of the director of the establishment to complain about having been burgled. The common point between the victims is that they all stayed in the Castel on the advice of the Bakerson travel agency. #EckBouillier #DetectiveNovel AudioCite
