These characteristics become even more evident when bringing together three musical projects with such unique artists as the SulAmérica Orquestra Ouro Preto Festival. There will be more than three hours of music in the exhibition of the encounters of the Minas Gerais formation with the band Pato Fu, the duo Anavitória and Duda Beat, respectively. The performances were recorded this year as part of the SulAmérica Sessions project and, now, they gain even more visibility with the free broadcast here on YouTube, on December 17, starting at 6 pm. Influential names in the new generation of Brazilian popular music, with references ranging from pop to folk, the duo won over the public and critics with the delicacy of their voices and compositions, in addition to accumulating, in just a few years of career, several awards and thousands of views on all digital platforms. Adding to this trajectory, an unprecedented encounter with concert music, lending the musicality of the Ouro Preto Orchestra to songs that draw crowds under the baton of maestro Rodrigo Toffolo. A repertoire chosen to delight fans and, at the same time, surprise the audience. The setlist includes hits such as “Singular”, “Trevo (Tu)”, “Amarelo, Azul e Branco”, “Explodir” and many others. The choice of songs was based on the curiosity of the two artists in discovering how these songs would sound with an orchestra, since they seemed tailor-made to gain new colors and possibilities when combined with the arrangements signed by Paulo Malheiros. “It was a great joy to meet Anavitória. It is always good to be alongside the new generation, fulfilling our mission of democratizing access to art. Those who attend the concert will certainly be surprised by the power of this union and will possibly leave with the desire to learn even more about orchestral music”, guarantees Toffolo. It was the first show in which the duo was accompanied by an orchestra. “It was so beautiful. We were so happy and excited for this moment,” they said in unison. “Whenever we have the opportunity to see our music in different ways and work with people we admire, we will definitely choose to do it. It’s a dream.” Following the principle of major musical events, the SulAmérica Orquestra Ouro Preto Festival brings a plurality of languages that allows the public to not only enjoy the artists they already know, but also discover new talents. For SulAmérica, encouraging actions like the Festival makes the company’s purpose even more real. “We believe that music has the power to transform people’s lives and bring us well-being. Encouraging Brazilian culture through the Orquestra Ouro Preto and also being alongside incredible professionals who make the show happen has a very important meaning for the entire SulAmérica team. We are here to improve people’s lives, and the company is very proud to promote art and culture in the country through wonderful initiatives like this,” says Simone Cesena, the company’s Marketing Director. - Click on the bell and activate the reminder.
