▶ Wild Journey [Pilgrims of the Frozen Land] You must survive in the harsh wilderness. The fate of Mother Nature. The creatures on the frozen ground leave to survive. A yak is giving birth in the Bayan Mountains, 3,000 meters above sea level in northwestern Mongolia. The yak licks its newborn calf to leave its mother’s scent on the calf’s body. The calf stands on all fours just 10 minutes after birth. The nomad family has grown. The nomad must set off on a long journey with its new family. Young livestock and children are loaded onto crates. The road to the spring nomad land with grass is long and rugged. Therefore, the young creatures are carried on the backs of the most gentle camels. The distance to the destination is 100 km. It takes 4 nights and 5 days without rest. They have been on the move for the second day. We meet the stories of the Altai Mountains’ golden eagle hunters and the Mongolian nomads who cross the rugged Bayan Mountains twice a year to find pastures. ※ This video is [Wild Journey - Pilgrims of the Frozen Land (August 12, 2018)].
