How to change the TIMING BELT and WATER PUMP, parts that you will have to change sooner or later if you have a Chevy C2, POP, MONZA, SWING, CORSA. The timing belt Change every 40,000 or less to prevent it from breaking and causing Major Damage to the Engine. When this belt breaks, the engine synchronization is lost, that is, the camshaft stops turning and in many cases one or more of the valves remain in the open position... the crankshaft continues to turn and in turn the pistons continue to go up and down inside the cylinders but when the pistons go up they hit the valves and bend, they no longer seal and the engine will not work. Compression is lost, which is one of the factors that intervene or influence combustion to exist. When this belt breaks, in these cars, the exhaust valves are the ones that bend.
