Every year, I set a goal of 1 book a week, or 52 books a year. This year, this number is 60. I can say that the reason for this was the decision to stay away from people and stay home in December. I read 15 books in December. :) While I am saying this, there will be those who say, “I don’t have time to read books.” Everyone can spare 10 minutes a day to read books. We spend an average of 5 hours a day on social media. If we spend even a small part of this on reading books, if we read 20 pages of books a day, it makes an average of 18 books a year. According to the research conducted by countries, the country that reads the most books per person is the USA and to my surprise, an average of 17 books are read per year. In other words, you are exceeding this average. I think it is amazing. Turkey has 6 books per person per year. So framing the sentence “I don’t have time” and saying “I can find 10 or 20 minutes to read a book today” can surprisingly help you find time.
