In this episode, Max Terpstra takes Sarita Lorena (27) on a tour bus. On the way, Max discovers Sarita's hidden yodelling talent and they talk about her grieving process after the death of her ex-boyfriend Siki. When they arrive at the barefoot path, they continue talking about love and Sarita reveals to Max that she is pregnant. Max picks up Sarita and takes her for a fun day. In the tour bus, they immediately hit it off and Max and Sarita burst out laughing about the special hobbies Sarita had as a child. In addition to laughing, they also reflect on Sarita's grief surrounding the death of her shot ex-boyfriend Siki. Her latest hit Geen Afscheid is about Sarita's grieving process. She tells Max that the record was finished a year before she was ready to share it with the general public. For Sarita, releasing this song was part of her grieving process. Once at the barefoot path, they take off their shoes and Max and Sarita discover that the singer is quite petite. They venture over all kinds of surfaces, under obstacles and go straight through the mud. In between they take breaks to talk about life in front of and behind the scenes. Sarita is open about her love life and talks about a relationship with an abusive person and how that relationship negatively influenced her view of love for a long time. She also talks about how the death of Siki made her not want to give in to love again for a long time because it felt like cheating. She now allows love back into her life and reveals to Max that she is pregnant. That is extra special because Sarita thought she could not get pregnant naturally. Max realizes that during the barefoot path he carried not only Sarita, but also her child on his back, because Sarita is pregnant. On the way they pass a wishing well and talk about faith and belief. Sarita can be quite a dreamer and tells Max about her special experiences with spirituality. Sarita Lorena (1997) was born in Brazil and grew up in Zeeland. She is known as a singer in the Latin and Dutch genre and for her participation in Beste Zangers in 2022. In the spring of 2024, her single Geen Afscheid was released, she dedicated this song to her friend Siki, who was shot dead in 2022.
