"Let the whole country be a burning pyre of prayer" - Venerable Sofian Boghiu DOCUMENTARY - PART I - THE UNIVERSE OF FAITH - TVR 1 - Sept. 15 2024 On the morning of September 14, 2002, the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, we parted with Father Archimandrite Sofian Boghiu, the abbot of Antim Monastery. Two decades later, the one called the apostle of Bucharest, was passed among the saints by the BOR synod, with a day of honor on September 16. In the following documentary, the disciples of the Reverend Father Sofian remember with emotion what the meeting with the great cleric meant for them, but also about his role in the grouping of the Burning Torch from the Antim Monastery, linked to the ideal of unceasing prayer.
