About :

BOEY, together with my buddy Marianus Machtemes, I organized the tour to the filming locations of Manta Manta 91. After intensive planning, on May 7th, 2023, we were able to blast through the streets of the Ruhr area with our cult car and drive to the filming locations of Manta Manta from 1991. Every scene in the film was shot directly or in the immediate vicinity of the filming locations. We started in Dortmund Derne, where the film begins, and drove along Universitätsstraße to Witten. After a refreshment, we drove on to Bochum and finally to Oberhausen. We made a longer stop at each filming location. At the end, we all sat together for dinner. We even managed to inspire the actor Uwe Fellensiek (Ferrari driver and discotheque owner from the film) with the tour. He came to visit with his original bomber jacket from the world premiere of Manta Manta in 1991. But we didn't just have the actor with us, we also had one of the 3 original Mantas from Manta Manta by Sky Automobile and numerous other great vehicles.
