Yangpyeong-gun, a city with clear water and outstanding natural beauty. There is a woman who dreams of introducing traditional Korean liquor to the world. She is Park Soo-jin, who grows chrysanthemums for makgeolli in a small rural village in Yangpyeong. Dongguk, a winter chrysanthemum that is said to be more fragrant than other chrysanthemums. Since there are not many farmers who grow dongguk, and in order to obtain better quality raw materials, Soo-jin grows flowers herself using eco-friendly farming methods. She is in her fourth year of farming and second year of farming, and is still a novice farmer, but she is slowly growing with the help of the village elders. Soo-jin is the youngest among the farmers, but she is the best when it comes to traditional liquor. Although she had no interest in studying, her passion for makgeolli led her to earn a doctorate. She has conducted numerous studies to make makgeolli that is more delicious and fragrant. And the result is the only 'chrysanthemum makgeolli' in the country. The combination of the chrysanthemum scent faintly blended with the vibrant scent of makgeolli is mysteriously fragrant. It takes more than a month to make one bottle of this makgeolli. She is proud of making high-quality liquor with rice and flowers from Yangpyeong, so she spends a busy day running around today. Sujin, who made Yangpyeong her second hometown for a new dream.
