THE BIMOBIL MAKERS In 1977, mechanical engineer Raimund von Liebe founded a motorhome company, which he ran with his wife Veronika for 40 years. The company grew rapidly in the years that followed. Exactly 40 years later, in 2017, the family took over the company through his nephew Stefan Christner, who has continued the family business with his wife Sabine Rentsch ever since. Today, bimobil von Liebe GmbH has over 90 employees in the office and production and produces around 100 motorhomes a year with a lot of passion and expertise. So we are not a large company, but rather a healthy medium-sized business with a large number of highly qualified and highly committed employees who manufacture motorhomes with expertise and joy in the product. BIMOBIL TODAY: TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP MEETS MOTORHOME INSPIRATION The bimobil company was born out of a passion for travel and today, as then, every motorhome is lovingly handcrafted. Of course, the 90-strong team currently has the latest special tools and CNC milling machines available in the various factory halls so that they can carry out precise and long-lasting work. However, no two vehicles are the same; customer requests are often made to order. Every component of the living area is manufactured to fit precisely; all joints in the wet room are perfectly sealed; the intermediate frame is harmoniously adapted to the vehicle and the cabin; the gas, water and electrical installations are planned, tested and installed in a traceable manner; the upholstery elements are made to measure. All at one location in our own halls. In order to produce a motorhome - whether for city trips or extreme expeditions - that will reliably withstand the strains of decades, it depends on the craftsmanship of each of the specialists who contribute their part to the whole. We are proud of our qualified and experienced team of long-standing employees who identify with our company and your motorhome and continue the passion from back then. THE NAME BIMOBIL The name bimobil comes from the dual use of the pick-up vehicles as a motorhome and as a transporter, because the construction of interchangeable cabins has always been one of the main focuses of the production program. Cabins with a self-centering interchangeable system are offered by bimobil for a wide variety of vehicles such as the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux, but also for the Iveco Daily and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Today, around a fifth of the motorhome production is pick-up versions, the rest are motorhomes mounted permanently on the chassis. The high stability of the cabins and their durability have led to long-distance travel and expedition vehicles becoming increasingly important in the product range. QUALITY AND SOLID CRAFTSMANSHIP Quality and solid craftsmanship are the top priority in the entire production program. This means that vehicles are manufactured that can also cope with demanding terrain. The living cabins are made from self-made, cold-bridge-free sandwich material with a high-quality foam core and are manufactured with absolute cleanliness. The interior is solid carpentry work and the technical equipment is installed in a functional and clear manner. WITHOUT UNNECESSARY FRILLS, WITHOUT PLUSH AND WITHOUT EVERYDAY GRAY The design is essential and characteristic for all bimobiles. Clear external contours, a white or silver exterior paintwork with colorful or subtle decor in the color of the base vehicles and an interior that is completely different to that of the "usual": a bright and friendly natural wood interior with many loving details, combined with fabrics in fresh colors or even leather upholstery - practical and homely, without unnecessary frills, without plush and without everyday gray. However, we always remain consistent in the quality of the workmanship. AFTER THE PURCHASE IS BEFORE THE SERVICE We will continue to look after you even after you have purchased your motorhome. Our spare parts delivery works promptly, our service handles additional equipment and repairs and we are also available at any time for information and tips. We also show you what your new bimobil can do and what else you might need in our annual driving training with lots of additional content (bimobil off-road training).
