This project is a video that modifies the original diff lock installed in the MT vehicle of the 500 series Hijet so that it can be used unlimitedly, and a video that tests the driving performance of the diff lock in the open diff, diff lock, and 4-wheel drive state in a way that can only be done with an unlimited diff lock. *In the main part of the video, there is a video of a light truck accelerating suddenly and driving in a swerving manner, but such actions should never be done on public roads. Please do not imitate this on public roads. The 500 series diff lock has conditions for use, and only 1st gear and reverse gear can be used, but we removed that restriction and modified it to operate the diff lock unlimitedly. The 500 series Hijet's safety function support Smart Assist 3 vehicle has interference with the diff lock function, so it was difficult to modify, but we succeeded in making it an unlimited diff lock without causing any problems with the Smart Assist while retaining the original diff lock function! I rarely use the diff-lock function, but it's super convenient to have. I hope it will be helpful to viewers.
