A little bit of the festival's history The mega-event takes place in the heart of Goiás, the birthplace of Brazilian country music, and is in its 13th edition. In 2006, the first event was held, still under the name Caldas Country Fest, in an area of 15,000m², in Caldas Novas. From the second edition, in 2007, the event exceeded the audience expectations and, in 2008, it was held in a larger area. Renamed Caldas Country Show, the event already attracted people from all over the country. In 2010, online ticket sales were implemented and the event attracted fans from around 600 Brazilian cities and other countries. Now occupying an area of 100,000m² — the Caldas Park Show — the event had its first live broadcast on TV. Its attendance record was in 2012, when it reached 100,000 people.
