This fair takes place every Saturday at the Parish House, from 10 am to 2 pm, behind the São Francisco Xavier District Church in SP. Here you can find plant seedlings, organic vegetables, fruits and legumes, honey, homemade cheeses, cakes, sweets, handicrafts of all kinds and even talk to the people who produce all this wealth. For many decades, its economy was directly linked to agriculture and livestock. In 1911, it received public lighting with oil lamps and improvements were made exclusively by its residents. Currently, due to its natural riches, São Francisco has been declared a Federal Environmental Protection Area as part of the Paraíba do Sul River basin.
