This fair takes place all day every Saturday in the main square of the São Francisco Xavier District, SP. Here you can find plant seedlings, organic vegetables, fruits and legumes, honey, homemade cheeses, cakes, sweets, handicrafts of all kinds, and you can also talk to the people who produce all this wealth. The history of the São Francisco Xavier District Initially serving as a stop for cattle drivers, São Francisco Xavier became a district of São José dos Campos in 1892. For many decades, its economy was directly linked to agriculture and livestock. In 1911, it received street lighting with oil lamps, and improvements were made exclusively by its residents. Today, due to its natural riches, São Francisco has been declared a Federal Environmental Protection Area as part of the Paraíba do Sul River basin.
