I decided to see for myself that fireweed needs to be fermented, and checked what would happen if I brewed fresh leaves or simply dried fireweed leaves without fermentation. For my little experiment, I used 4 options for brewing fireweed: 1. Fresh plant leaves; 2. Simply dried fireweed leaves; 3. Pre-withered and then dried leaves; 4. Real fireweed, withered leaves, fermented and dried. I brewed all four mixtures in different cups and got an interesting result: Options 1. Fresh plant leaves; 2. Simply dried fireweed leaves; did not even color the water, and tasted like just brewed grass. Option 3 (Pre-withered and then dried leaves) colored the water a little and a very vague taste of the real drink began to appear. Real Ivan tea (withered leaves, fermented and dried) gave the drink a pleasant amber color (the color depends on the strength of the brew) _ Subscribe to the channel / @mozgon
