One of the most recognized names in national and international music, Michel Teló will be on The Noite com Danilo Gentili. Celebrating 30 years of his career this year, he says: “I started playing at a dance hall in Mato Grosso do Sul when I was 12 years old. It was a mix of gaucho music and sertaneja music, and there is the Paraguayan border there. It was a very regional style”. Former coach and judge on The Voice, where he was for 8 years, he comments on the fact that his team has won 7 times: “choosing the right songs at the right time in the competition and noticing that voice that is shining. We work really hard, but that little bit of luck is also important”. He reveals that he almost didn’t get to be a coach on the show and says: “I almost didn’t accept. Oh God. Because I was afraid to do it. I thought no one would choose me if I turned my chair”. He talks about whether there is rivalry behind the scenes among the coaches and says: “deep down, everyone wants to win”. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Noite is a talk show hosted by Danilo Gentili and airs from Monday to Friday in the early hours of the morning on SBT.
