In celebration of the Battle of Lepanto, from the 1st Ceneto Real Regiment in the Field and in the Church of Saints John and Paul we gather under the flag of St. Mark to honor Marcantonio Bragadin, defender of Famagosta murdered with the torture of being flayed alive by the Turks. Other Characters, Doges, leaders and Saints are displayed with the tombs of the grandiose Dominican Church, The Admiral of the Venetian fleet at Lepanto Sebastiano Venier in a sculpture still seems to challenge the Turkish fleet as on that 7th October 1571.
