At TEDxGovernadorValadares, Késia talks about her experience with Financial Education. Késia Rodrigues Prates (@kesia.prates) had her own financial life transformed when she had access to financial education. When she was living in complete chaos, in debt and facing all the difficulties caused by financial problems, she discovered that it was possible to get back on her feet from scratch and change the course of her life through financial education. She believes that in a country like Brazil, where 78% of the population is in debt or in default, financial education is the path to transformation and liberation for people. Today, she has a degree in financial education from Unoeste São Paulo, and works exclusively with financial education and shares this knowledge for free on her YouTube channel (Késia Prates Educadora Financeira), teaching thousands of Brazilians that it is possible to be free through knowledge and financial education.
