El Kaif Movie El Kaif Movie Story El Kaif is an Egyptian film produced in 1985 that discusses the issue of drugs and their impact on society. Written by Mahmoud Abu Zeid, directed by Ali Abdel Khaleq, and starring Yehia El Fakharany, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Nora. After Gamal (Mahmoud Abdel Aziz) fails his studies, he decides to work as a singer in a popular band to perform at weddings. His chemist brother Salah tries to convince Gamal to quit drugs, so he gives him a piece of hashish that was manufactured in the lab from harmless aromatic materials and advises him to use it and give it to his friends instead of hashish to maintain their health. Gamal shows the manufactured piece to a drug dealer, who in turn delivers it to the gang leader who likes this formula and decides to add a percentage of a narcotic substance to it. The formula is put on the market and is well-received by drug customers. The gang leader asks Gamal to provide him with the required quantities to meet the market's need, and he succeeds in convincing him of the need to exploit the situation, especially since the formula does not provide its users with anything more than the illusion of high. Salah discovers that the gang has mixed his formula with the narcotic substance, so he decides to stop supplying the gang with the required quantities, but Salah and Gamal then discover that they have entered a hornet's nest.
