Grieving father Aydın Sönmez joined the program “Neler Oluyor Hayat” (What’s Going On in Life) broadcast on Kanal D and hosted by Hakan Ural and Nur Tuğba Namlı. He tearfully recounted the painful incident. “He had heavy bleeding in his mouth, his fever rose and he started shaking. The doctors did not take care of my son. I want those responsible to be punished. This incident should not be covered up,” he said in protest. Unable to overcome the shock of the incident, the father said, “Despite my wife warning the doctor, no one took care of him. Everything happened in 15 minutes!” “I got burned, I don’t want other parents to get burned!” Grieving father Aydın Sönmez emphasized that no tests were performed on his son before the anesthesia, saying, “My son had a fever, he lost consciousness. Not even a doctor came to look at him. Although the doctors suspected he had a condition, no one did any tests before the anesthesia.” and emphasized that his son, who lost his life at the age of 5, died as a result of the negligence of the doctor.
