#permaculture #compost #gardening In this video you can see how I turned the compost pile seven times. The first turn was four days after creating the pile, and then again the next day. The last turn was actually an integration into a new, larger pile, in which I added some fresh greens, some frozen zucchini plants and some goat and donkey manure, plus some rotten hay and some mature weed stems. On this occasion, I found a larva under the goat manure and a hedgehog under the weed pile. I covered the larva with compost and hay, so that it wouldn't suffer from the frost, and I put the hedgehog under the new compost pile, which I don't intend to disturb until spring. In the meantime, so as not to waste time explaining a few more things about compost until the images of the turns are running.
