She was born on August 6, 1968 in Ankara. The daughter of journalist-author Tayyar Şafak and Nurten Şafak, Aslı Şafak is married to Murat Baykara. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics in 1990. The famous programmer, who started her career during her university years, first worked as an economics reporter for Tercüman Newspaper. Immediately after graduation, she worked as a production assistant at TRT Ankara Television and then started working as a reporter at TRT News Center in 1992. Aslı Şafak, who successfully fulfilled her duty as a reporter at the news center, also worked as a prime minister, president and parliament reporter. After the economic crisis that broke out in 1994, she conducted interviews with the economic administrators of the period and Prime Minister Tansu Çiller. Aslı Şafak Programs: Aslı Şafak prepared and presented the morning news program Haber 07, which was broadcast on TRT 1 between 1996 and 1998, and presented the program Haber Postası, which was also broadcast on TRT between 2002 and 2003. Aslı Şafak, who started living in London, the capital of England, between 2003 and 2010, assumed the role of the institution's London representative despite her resignation from TRT. The successful programmer, who started working as the London representative of Bloomberg HT channel, which was founded in Turkey in January 2010, moved from London to Istanbul upon receiving an offer from the channel and started preparing and presenting programs. Şafak, who has been teaching economics at Nişantaşı University since 2015, received the title of Best Female Journalist by a British research company in a competition organized by a magazine published in the field of economics. Also in 2015, Aslı Şafak published her first book, “Sayının Namusu”, and in 2016, her second book, “Bana Bana Hep Bana”, hit the shelves. The beautiful programmer, who was deemed worthy of the FODER award with the programs she made, takes part in many conferences organized on branding as a speaker.
