Excursion of April 15, 2022. Trip with the girls (12-14 years), from Alagna-Valsesia, to Alpe Campo, at an altitude of 1923 m. The clear day gave us a splendid view of the Rosa-Tagliaferro massif and Corno Bianco. Fabulous to have lunch surrounded by these splendid snow-capped peaks! The meadows were covered with expanses of Crocus. The lake was beautiful, with its unmistakable red boat, still frozen... Exciting to find yourself in front of the first door of the Capanna Margherita!!! So much history, at the Chapel of Sant'uberto.. a truly unique place! In the summer you can find the Capanna Sociale open, a refuge managed with passion and will by Mr Gilberto Negri. Path without difficulties, suitable for families.
